The Asian Triathlon Championships 2016 is to be held in Japan from 29th April - 1st May 2016. A Selection race for the Elite races has been arranged as outlined below. National Squad athletes wishing to be considered for the Asian Triathlon Championships are expected to race at the Selection Race, unless otherwise representing Hong Kong, China in an overseas race as nominated by TriHK at that time.

The Hong Kong Triathlon Association will organize its Annual Awards cum Annual Buffet Lunch Reception on 21 February 2016, Sunday, at 11:30am, at The Millions, 3/F., Happy Valley Stand, Happy Valley Racecourse, Hong Kong Jockey Club, Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley, Hong Kong. Limited tickets are available for Annual Awards winners and their friends and relatives, as well as TriHK members on a first-come, first served basis. Tickets for Annual Awards Winners are at HK$150 per winner. Tickets for TriHK members are HK$250 each and non-TriHK members are HK$350 each.

2016TriHK Coach Registration
REMINDER: 2016 Coach Registration has begun accepting applications. All interested parties should fulfill the following requirements and return your application to TriHK Office on or before 31 March 2016.
You are required:
1. to register as 2016 Hong Kong Triathlon Association member;
2. to fill in the enclosed coach registration form;
3. to submit updated sports certificate (if any);
4. to provide a passport photo if you need a coaching card;
5. to provide an envelope with $1.7 stamp
If fail to submit your application by 31 March 2016, your record will be deleted and you are not entitle to coach any Tri HK training courses.
Former National Squad Triathlete, Lo Ching Hin Ivan's refusing to submit to sample collection, has led to a 4 year suspension thus deeming him ineligible to participate in any capacity with any sport affiliated to the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) or organizations regulated by the World Anti-Doping Code. Ivan Lo is no longer a member of the national triathlon team according to the terms laid out by the HKADC and TriHK.
The TriHK fully supports the objectives of WADA and the HKADC, as well as their testing protocol. TriHK will continue to work together with the HKADC and SF&OC to ensure athletes take every opportunity made available to them by the relevant bodies, including attending relevant seminars, so that they are fully aware of, and remain in compliance with, the HKADC regulations.
Should there be any differences between the English and Chinese version, the English statement prevails.
Since August 2014, the regular age grouper swim training will be replaced by seasonal target swim training. The target of the swim training will be changed quarterly by TriHK coach according to the race season. Please find the detail as attachment
