We aim to actively promote the sports of triathlon to public and community by organizing different kind of training course like the Young Athlete Triathlon Training Scheme(YAT). The YAT Training aims to arouse teenagers interest to Triathlon and to foster their sportsmanship through systematic training.

Triathlon Grass Root Athlete Development Plan is organized by the Hong Kong Triathlon Association and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It aims at introducing the triathlon to the public, providing triathlon foundational training, and encouraging the public to participate in triathlon activities. The development Plan includes Triathlon Fun Day, Beginner’s Training Course, and Intermediate Training Course.

The Hong Kong Triathlon Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Wright as Head Triathlon Coach effective 4th August 2020.
Andrew is a former Hong Kong national triathlete and multiple medalist in Asian Champsionships and Asian Cups. He has trained some of the world’s best athletes including Olympic gold and silver medalist, Nicola Spirig, 2018 U23 European champion Max Studer and 2019 Asian champion Oscar Coggins.
His qualifications and experience is backed by results shown from athletes at all levels. He has obtained recognition from the following institutions:
MSc Sports Science (Loughborough University)
BSc Sports Science (Hong Kong University)
ITU Certified Coach
U.S.A. & Australian Certified Swim Coach

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, we regret to inform you that the 2020 Hong Kong Life ASTC Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup and the Asian Aquathlon Championships has been cancelled. The safety of our athletes, staff and officials is always our top priority and we thank you for your understanding.
Notice is hereby given that Soar Athletic Association has been removed from Hong Kong Triathlon Association with immediate effect. The Executive Committee’s unanimous decision was based on the serious violation of rules by the club.
