Swim Test

For safety reasons, participants under the age of  15 (born after 1998) who wish to participate in 2013 Hong Kong ITU Triathlon Asian Cup, must show evidence that have competed in one of the open water swim races (Aquathon/Triathlon)/ ocean swim prior to 2 October 2013 (before 2pm).

For those participants who have not shown prior open water race results, a mandatory water test will be held on Sunday, 6 October 2013 at Repulse Bay Beach.

Notice

Mr. Philip Penaloza tender resignation as President as TriHK , effective immediately, due to personal and work demands. Please refer to the letter as attached for reference.

Vice President, Mr. Erik Chan, will now step into the role as President of TriHK for the remaining term of the Presidency according to Association Article 24. The TriHK Executive Committee expresses its gratitude towards Philip' contribution and commitment over the past years.

ITU Level II Coaching Course will be held on 24 - 29 November 2013 in Hong Kong. Keep an eye on www.triathlon.com.hk for further details to be announced shortly. Kindly note that it is a full-day course on all the above said dates.

Hong Kong will be represented in the elite competition by the following athletes:

Mens U23: Law Leong Tim and  Cheung Arthur Tak Hei

Junior Women: Choi Yan Yin

Junior Men: Kok Yu Hang, Tang Ho Fai,  Perry Wong 


In addition to the Elite races, Hong Kong will also be represented by a contingent of Age Group athletes in the Olympic and Sprint Distance, as well as the Aquathon.

ALL CHINA GAMES

The triathlon events of the 12th China National Games 2013 will be held at Qipanshan, Shenyang on the 2-3 September.

The men's race comprising of 30 athletes will be held on the 2nd September. Hong Kong will be represented by 4 athletes: Law Leong Tim, Lo Ching Hin, Tam Joe Dick and Perry Wong.  

The women's race comprising of 26 athletes will be held the 3rd September.  Hong Kong will be represented by 2 athletes: Cheung Ting Yan and Choi Yan Yin.

Coach Patrick Kelly and the HK athletes will arrive in Shenyang on they 30th August, following an altitude training camp in Japan.

Special thanks to Hong Kong PHAB Association in Providing on-site physiotherapy service for this Sunday's Aquathon Series - Race 4 at Siu Sai Wan. The on-site physiotherapy booth will locate next to the Registration Area.
