Triathlon Grass Root Athlete Development Plan is organized by the Hong Kong Triathlon Association and subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It aims at introducing the triathlon to the public, providing triathlon foundational training, and encouraging the public to participate in triathlon activities. The development Plan includes Triathlon Fun Day, Beginner’s Training Course, and Intermediate Training Course.

Hong Kong Triathlon Association is now recruiting the coaches as below:
What an excellent turnout for IHKSports's first-ever SportsHour Sharing & Networking Event "Triathlon in Life" at Yan Gallery! The sharing invited Mr Ming Wai Lau, The Vice-Chairman of the Youth Development Commission, Ms Ruth Hunt, President of the Hong Kong Triathlon Association, Mr Tim Law, the Asian Games 2018 Triathlon Mixed Relay Bronze Medalist and Ms Cho Wing To, Cheri, the Asian Games 2018 Hong Kong Triathlon Representative as speakers, to share their "Triathlon in Life". Over 80 like-minded professionals from different fields came to meet each other and shared their stories on how sports further their professional development.
For safety reasons, athletes who participate in Hong Kong Life ASTC Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup and the ASTC Aquathlon Asian Championships 2018, they must have competed in one of the open water swim races (Aquathon/Triathlon)/ ocean swim prior to 1 October 2018.
If athletes have not participated in any open water swim races (Aquathon/Triathlon)/ ocean swim, they must join the water test.

Location: Repulse Bay Beach, Hong Kong Island (Outside Changing Room which is near the Carpark)
Report Time: 8:45 am
Content: Swim to a beach raft and come back
Remark: All participant must be changed before report to our staff.
Please be reminded that if participant can provide any open water race experience, the water test can be exempted.
